haha, I'm not sure if it's some interest I have listed or someone I'm actually friends who they keep trolling.

I, of course, don't have the foggiest idea what they're even posting about. I keep trying to figure out their motivation for adding people and I suppose there's some sort of ad revenue tied to it somehow.

That's really weird. The Feufre one gives two business articles - one on low-yield oil wells and one on purchasing islands. The Sesht one talks about marriage and family advice (rather conservative) like ten clues your husband might be cheating on you. Neither of them have anything in their user info.

Possibly they went and befriended everyone who listed public policy-like things as an interest, to see if any of them post blog entries they can steal material from. That's the only idea I have. I believe your entire journal is f-locked, so you are unlikely to give them material.

You can report them as spam and let whoever are our current LJ overlords deal with them.

Yeah, I rarely if ever make public posts, so I'm not too worried about the practical implications. But it is pretty bizarre. It reminds me of those Associated Content blogs where people are paid to write blog posts, but I don't really see what's generating any revenue here.
